China, Vietnam enhance security plastic wristbands in bulkacross border

The Bath Music Festival Detroit has the dubious distinction of being one of the biggest talent pools of musicians who are famous elsewhere. And while this is shame, it also gives fans the ability to see greats like The Muggs in favorite small venues and hometown bars across the area. Gaining notoriety in Europe as one of the fresh bands fronting Detroit"s new generation of Dodge muscle cars, Danny Methric, Tony DeNardo and Todd Glass keep a low-key lifestyle in their home city.
Every year groups of musicians band together to tour the states. After the success of the CMA Country festival wristbands in 2009, the summer of 2010 burst open with more energy and even more diverse acts. Nearly every major city hosted a tour and not a single one lacked the full octane buzz that Country offers. Since "91 the Chicago Country festival wristbands at Soldier Field has been the ripest environment for newcomers to the genre. Chicago mayor Richard Daley confessed he had a weak spot for the slide guitar with the moaning pitch of steel on steel. The first year of the festival, 42,000 fans supported his love and ever since, it has been one of the biggest summer events for the genre. You know what this means, right? In addition to the obvious outward physical improvements that movement provides, it also directly contributes to improvements in mood, learning, memory, focus, hormonal communication, immune function, and every other physical, mental and emotional function you can think of. In Cleveland avant-garage legends Pere Ubu performed their influential post-punk watershed album The Modern Dance sport wristbands in its entirety for a live audience at the Beachland Ballroom this year helping the North Collinwood club celebrate its year anniversary. If wristbands can"t be tamperproof, at least they can be tamper-evident. If the bad guys try to cheat, your security people can spot counterfeit bands or bands that have been taken off a legitimate entry and passed to someone on the outside. Many masks are based on the event wristbands that you are going to. You may want to make a mask that is much more flamboyant for Mardi Gras or are you may want an elegant mask for that formal event. You need to figure out some of the colors and basic themes that you want to use. Some of the things that you may need to create your masterpiece is some kind of craft glue, feathers, sequins, glitter, gemstones, and anything else that you might need. You may want to purchase sticks or dow rods to complete your mask. Do not forget you will need some kind of elastic or ribbon to be able to wear the mask. To be honest sometimes I"ve had an idea in mind and from start to finish it"s taken me only hours. Then there are those times when I"m doing something that is really emotional, personal, something that requires my full attention... that can take anywhere from days to a month to complete. So far, a month is the longest amount of time I"ve EVER worked on one piece of art... I"m pretty sure if I did not have a deadline in order to travel to Boston, MA it would have taken me even longer minus the very late nights. As my kids get older and don"t require my attention as much I hope to be able to focus my energy on taking my time. It"s great cheap therapy. These events are fun and exciting. I personally will be going to Delta Fair and Music Festival so that I can take my daughter to enjoy all of the rides and see all of the vendors, I am a sucker for good crafts and end up spending a bundle. On that note, I hope this will guide you in some ideas for the weekend. Labor Day signifies the end of summer and there is no need to let it go to waste.

With latest exchanges, two sides look for ways to strengthen regional peace

The Chinese and Vietnamese militaries will enhance exchanges and cooperation in various fields and jointly safeguard peace and security in the border area, senior officials said on Monday.

General Wei Fenghe, State councilor and minister of national defense, met with his Vietnamese counterpart, General Ngo Xuan Lich, on Monday in Longzhou county in southern China"s Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region for the fifth China-Vietnam high-level border exchanges between the two militaries. The meeting runs until Wednesday.

During their meeting on Monday afternoon, Wei said the China-Vietnam comprehensive strategic partnership has maintained steady and positive growth thanks to the leadership of President Xi Jinping and Vietnamese President Nguyen Phu Trong.

This year marks the 10th anniversary of the strategic partnership. The two militaries have held high-level border exchanges for five consecutive years.

The Chinese side is willing to work with Vietnam to inherit and carry forward the traditional friendship with Vietnam, strengthen unity and jointly tackle challenges, Wei said. This includes enhancing cooperation across various fields, as well as coordination on regional and international issues.

Wei said both sides should uphold the important consensus reached by the national leaders, deepen border-related cooperation and exchanges, improve joint border management mechanisms, strengthen dialogues between agencies on border matters and safeguard peace and prosperity in the border area.

Lich said the Vietnamese side highly values the traditional friendship between the two nations and militaries, and is willing to work with China to fulfill the consensus reached by national leaders, further enhancing mutual political trust.

The Vietnamese military will expand practical cooperation and friendly exchanges with its Chinese counterpart, and inject new vigor into developing bilateral ties, Lich said. It will also jointly safeguard regional peace and security with China, and contribute to the sustainable development of both nations.

On Monday, delegations from both sides observed a joint border patrol exercise on the Chinese side of the border. They also visited a Chinese border regiment, a middle-school and the Ho Chi Minh heritage site and museum in Longzhou. On Tuesday, both delegations will travel to Cao Bang on the Vietnamese side of the border for more joint exercise demonstrations and exchanges.

Pan Jin"e, a Vietnamese studies researcher at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, said military-to-military relations is one of the key pillars of China-Vietnamese bilateral ties.

"Both sides have had a lot of practical cooperation in border areas in recent years, including minesweeping, counterterrorism and cracking down on drug trafficking," she said. In late October, the border region in the Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region officially became mine-free, she said.

"These efforts will improve regional security, as well as interconnectivity and people-to-people relations in border areas," she said. "It is in the interests of both countries to cooperate in border security."
